Process_Description:
Basin boundaries are delineated using IHABBS by selecting discharge points, and then mapping upstream area using a 15-arc second flow direction grid. That flow direction grid is generated from 3-arc second USGS DEM averaged to 15-arc second resolution combined with EPA RF1 lakes and river vectors. The basin boundaries may be manually edited in places where the coarsened data does not accurately represent ground truth. The boundaries may also be edited to add features of a higher precision than the flow direction grid. These boundaries are submitted yearly if changes are made.
