The Cold Land Processes Working Group (CLPWG), sponsored by the NASA Land Surface Hydrology Program (LSHP), has the goal of assessing, planning and implementing the required background science, technology, and application infrastructure to support successful land surface hydrology remote sensing missions. This Field Experiment Plan is an essential part of that goal. It could not have been developed without the ideas and expertise of a large number of individuals who have contributed to a series of CLPWG workshops and numerous discussions.
