A snow survey began December 10, 2003 in the Northeast and was concluded on December 19, 2003 with 63 snow survey lines flown in regions of Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Flight lines were not flown in areas of Massachusetts, southern Vermont and southern New Hampshire due to the lack of snow cover.
