Observed Snowfall Analysis

• This analysis has been superceded by version 2 of the National Snowfall Analysis. The contents of this page will soon be replaced by those products.
• Due to their consistently low quality, snowfall analysis products for periods ending on 00Z have been removed from this page, and their production has been temporarily discontinued until the problem can be addressed. Snowfall products for analysis periods ending at 12Z are unchanged and will continue to be available.
• The 24, 48, and 72 hour accumulations can also be browsed on an interactive map.
• These files are updated every thirty minutes for three days.
• Products generated in the first two hours after the analysis time tend to be sparse, as not many observations have arrived yet. The map will fill out as more observations are processed.
