Weather Summary

Little snow or rain fell in the region yesterday.

At the higher peaks in northern California and eastern Nevada, 7 to 10 inches of snow water is contained within 5 to 7 feet of snow. At lower elevations, 1 to 2 feet of snow contains up to 2 inches of water. The snowpack temperature is cool region-wide, and little melting occurred yesterday. Surface sublimation is removing up to 1/2 inch of snow water per day at the higher elevations.

Little precipitation is expected this weekend.
